Is this for you?
The Moving Foot and Body Workshop is designed to empower healthcare and fitness professionals alike.
Whether you're an osteopath, physiotherapist, pilates instructor, chiropractor, personal trainer, or exercise physiologist, this course is your gateway to mastering the intricacies of foot biomechanics and enhancing your expertise.
This workshop concentrates on the practical aspects of evaluating and improving the function and movement of the foot in collaboration with the body and brain.
Unlock the secrets of the foot, a masterpiece of human biomechanics, to help your clients. With its 27 bones and 33 joints, the foot serves as a mobile adaptor, seamlessly connecting our body to the ground and propelling us forward like a powerful catapult.
But it doesn't stop there.
The foot is intricately linked to every part of our body. Its alignment and movement are not random; they serve a purpose. Our brain strategically positions our bones and joints, enabling us to navigate challenges and move efficiently. Imagine the possibilities when you understand how the foot influences human movement.
By exploring the full range of motion available within the body starting with feet, you can provide your clients with a groundbreaking approach to improve their overall well-being.
Join us to uncover the true potential of the foot and learn how to help your clients experience remarkable improvements in their movement and well-being.
Movement starts in the brain
Our bones and joints are where they are on purpose. Either in an ideal alignment as their joint spaces allow or aligned in a way that serves a purpose, a strategy created by the brain to move around a problem.
The Foot Moves
The foot is the gateway to understanding human movement. Accessing all available movement within the body provides the brain with all the information to create a different strategy.
Everything is connected
Come join us to learn about how the foot moves and in turn how you can move you and your clients feet in a way that shines a light in their brains and help them move to their fullest potential.

“ We can’t wait to share our passion, knowledge, experience and aha moments with you”
Hi I’m Eva,
I’m Alice in Wonderland curious about human movement. I found my feet 5 years ago and to say it’s been life-changing is an understatement. I have gone down many rabbit holes since qualifying as a physio in 2003 and found that movement is the answer to most questions the body asks us (starting with whispers and ending in shouts). Movement everywhere, not just a token arm in the air. Every joint. Guess where there are a lot of joints that don’t get to move. Correct (points to you at the back). The feet. Learning how to move my feet and my client’s feet has unlocked the opportunity to help the body truly move as it was designed.
Feet are a gateway to understanding human movement. I am so grateful to Anatomy in Motion, for starting me on this footpath and providing me with big aha moments. I feel privileged to share with you all, the amazingness of the foot and its incredible relationship with the body.
I bring to this workshop 20 years of experience as a physiotherapist, training in Pilates (DMA, Polestar, Tensegrity + APPI), Womans Health, Functional Biomechanics (Anatomy in Motion + Neurokinetic Therapy) and 5 years experience of teaching health practitioners APPI pilates. In my clinical practice, I take an holistic approach, assessing the body through a biomechanical lens and treating with movement and education. I love teaching and sharing my passion and knowledge.
Hi, I’m Riccardo,
I am a Doctor of Chinese Medicine with a specialization in Acupuncture, with over 15 years experience. My focus has always been on holistic, preventative healthcare. In my Canberra-based clinic, I have crafted a multi-modal approach to therapy, which encompasses treatments rooted in functional biomechanics and the Anatomy in Motion (AiM) technique. This method allows me to understand how each joint structure functions individually and its integral role in overall body movement.
Through extensive training in muscle testing, gait analysis, foot mobilization, functional gait exercises, functional anatomy, and the AiM approach, I have cultivated a profound comprehension of the body, its movement, and the ability to diagnose and address issues related to pain, discomfort, or limited mobility. I can work both internally, targeting acupuncture meridians, and externally, focusing on bones and muscles through biomechanics and functional anatomy.
My experience in seamlessly integrating these modalities has not only elevated my practice and success with clients but has also motivated me to extend my expertise to other clinicians. I offer mentorship, workshops, and online seminars to share my knowledge and help fellow professionals enhance their skills.
